Ephesians 6:10-12 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Dear Readers:
We all face trials and tribulations in our lives. Sometimes the odds seem insurmountable. We feel defeated and lost. Well, let me tell you something in case you didn’t know; Our God is greater than any problem we have. He is mightier than any pressure we experience. I want to let you in on a secret. If you are saved, if you believe in the Lord God with all your heart and soul, you can never be defeated ever by anything… especially not man or the devil. Hebrews 13:6 says: So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”
What can man do to me? If you believe in Jesus Christ, what can man do to you? “Greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world.” (I John 4:4) That is a fact. Take it to the bank. That is a check that won’t bounce. There are no guarantees in this world, but in Christ Jesus, there are many. The only true guarantees in existence are in Christ Jesus. I know what it is to feel low. I know what it is to feel defeated; to feel like you can’t win. I am telling you from experience that there is no defeat in Christ. In Christ Jesus, there is only victory. Hallelujah! Praise God! When you are in the body of Christ, no matter what happens in this world, you will come out on top. Jesus can’t lose and neither can we if we are in Him and He is in us. Yes, we will face trials and yes, we may feel defeated at times, but if we remember we are children of God and if we pray and put on the whole armor of God, then we will once again know peace in Christ and we will never taste defeat. We will never even taste death in Jesus. That’s right, not even death can touch us. These are guarantees. So, place your faith in the Lord and become truly untouchable in this world.
