Dear Readers:
I Thessalonians 1:8 “For from you the word of the Lord has sounded forth, not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place. Your faith toward God has gone out, so that we do not need to say anything.”
Greetings and blessings to you, my brothers and sisters. I pray that the Lord’s peace and prosperity are presiding over you. I send my love to each and every one of you. You are all in my prayers daily. I am overjoyed today because I have just realized that the site has been up for 13 months now. Praise God! As I ponder this, I am reminded of Mark 16:15 “And He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.'” and Psalm 67:2 “That Your way may be known on earth, Your salvation among all nations.” That is the mission that God has given to all of us. We must preach the gospel to the whole world. And, with this site, I and my brothers and sisters are doing just that. Hallelujah! I thank all of you and I ask you to join us in spreading the gospel. Tell everyone you meet about the Good News Gospel. Spread the word! You can even do so online by sharing this site with others or messaging and emailing scriptures. I try to incorporate the Good News into every conversation I have. Sometimes we do so just by our actions. When we walk upright, people can see the glory of God in us.
You know, no matter what it is we face in life, there is something in the Bible that relates to it. There is an instruction for all aspects of life – in the Bible. I look at the word “Bible” as an acronym:
B.I.B.L.E. = Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth
That is why it is important to study and memorize scripture. Not only will you learn from it, but when you see someone else in trouble, you can share a scripture that relates to their situation. And, if they are not Christians, it may spark their interest in the Word. When you teach it to your children, they will teach it to their friends. The Word is infectious – spread it, my friends! The world will be a better place for it. By the grace of God, all of us have the power to change lives, enrich people and help save their souls. It is our primary purpose in life. Do not waste that power, use it. If feels great! Believe that. You will be blessed for it. By enriching other’s lives, we enrich our own and improve life on earth. That is major. It’s incredible to think that even the smallest conversation we have with someone may change their life for all of eternity. Wow! Hallelujah! Thank you, Jesus, for that gift! Praise Your Name, Lord! I mean, I never dreamed that my writings – which the Lord inspires – would reach people in 128 countries around the world. I am not special. I’m just a humble servant; yet, He is using me in mighty ways. He will do the same for you, my friends. Join us; let us spread the gospel truth together. Imagine being in Heaven someday and someone walking up to you and saying, “Thank you – you helped me get saved.” How awesome would that be? How pleased will your Father in Heaven be?
Do not be ashamed to be a Christian. It is true that many look down on us and say we are foolish, but Jesus teaches us in Mark 8:38 that “For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.” Do not let shyness or fear prevent you from spreading the Good News. Remember, we must all answer to God some day. Honor Him by fulfilling your mission and purpose. Try to find a way to spread the Word every day. Be proactive. Create opportunities. If the Word were a cold, then I would cough and sneeze on everyone shamelessly. I do what I can. I speak it, I write it and I do my best to live it. If I can reach thousands of people from a prison cell, then imagine what you could do – being free. Think of the joy and goodness that you can spread. Someone inspired you to get saved and that changed your life. Now you have a chance to be an inspiration and help save other’s lives. Maybe most people will reject you. I am sure many people have viewed this site as a novelty – they visit once or twice out of curiosity and never return. But maybe, just maybe, something they read will plant a tiny seed that will grow over time. If we live our whole lives and spread the Word (even if only one person gets saved as a result), we have fulfilled our mission and we have lived a meaningful life. But, if you live your whole life without helping, loving or sharing the Word with others, then you have lived a wasteful and meaningless life. Make your existence on earth meaningful. Spread love, spread joy, spread peace and most importantly, spread the Word!!!
John 1:29 “The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!”
