Man Up!

https://www.pexels.com/photo/black-and-white-people-bar-men-4417/1st Corinthians 13:11  “When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.”

Dear Friends,  May God’s strength, power and light flow within you and guide you.  Amen!  It is always my intention to deliver the message to everyone.  And though I hope there is something to be gained by all in this one, I had a particular group in mind while writing this.  No offense ladies, but I am speaking directly to the men in this one.  Though, I do hope all the ladies learn from this as well.

Let us start by asking ourselves, “What makes a man?”  My earthly father always told me that men are built, not born.  You see, anyone can be born a male, but not every male becomes a man.  A man must be forged and wrought.  A man cannot be measured by physical strength or by his job or wealth.  In fact, I would be willing to wager that some of the wealthiest males on this planet are not truly men.  A man cannot be measured by how many women he slept with or how far he’s traveled; Nor can he be measured by his intelligence or worldly achievements.   (more…)

Not Of This World

https://www.pexels.com/photo/sky-lights-space-dark-2154/I Corinthians 2:12   Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.”

Dear Readers,  Greetings, blessings and grace to you, my brothers and sisters.  I would like to speak to you about things and people which are not of this world.  Now, I’m not talking about little green men or martians with ray guns; Nor am I speaking of alien abductions.  This is not about close encounters.  No, sir.  I want to talk to you about things which are supernatural.  Things like the love of Christ, the grace of God, true salvation and the Holy Spirit.  I want to talk about joy, peace and love – the kind which is completely out of the realm of understanding to an unsaved person.  Romans 12:2 says, “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”  Now, it is important to note in this verse, that Paul [the author] is not speaking of our beautiful planet earth per se; Nor is he suggesting that we not get along with the people on it.  What he is talking about is the sinful nature of this world; the corruption which has taken over the vast majority of this world.  It is the evil, greedy, lustful temptations of this world that lead men and women to darkness.  The sinful nature of this world has become as a bottomless pit, a black hole, an evil abyss which swallows non-believers whole.  Be you not conformed to it.  Be not given to its temptations.  Beware the sinful wishes of this world; For they will devour you. Strengthen Your Entire Being

gratisography.com/pictures/140_1.jpgI Corinthians 6:19-20  Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?  For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

Dear Readers,
I have been working out my body for the past 18 months.  I have been working out my spirit, mind and soul for 33 months.  In time, I came to realize how important it is to strengthen one’s entire being.  God created a beautiful and complex machine in the human being.  All of us are truly amazing.  Praise God!  I have come to realize that clean living through healthy habits strengthens not only ourselves but our relationship with God.  It makes us better human beings and better servants.  To optimize our relationship with God and each other, we need to strengthen our entire being.  When I work out and break a sweat, I can feel the toxins leaving my body through my pores.  I can feel the clean energy entering my body and the bad energy being expelled.  At the end, I get such a calmness about me.  I feel relaxed and energized at the same time.  I find it to be the perfect state of mind to meditate on the Word and praise God.  We must remember that our spirit is like a muscle also.  We must work every part of our being.   (more…)

LOVE?

Randall Daluz - Love Question MarkI Corinthians 13:1-3  Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.  And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.

Dear Readers,  God and Love are quintessential of one another. One cannot exist without the other for they are the same. What is God? God is Love. What is Love? Love is God. Once we understand love, we understand God and vice-versa. Many people have been fooled by their flesh and mistook lust for love. They end up getting spurned and become fearful of love. From then on, their hearts began to harden and they shut down. Many marriages fail today because people mistake the lust of the flesh for love. If you ask them why they got divorced, they’ll say “We grew apart. The love faded away.” Listen to me carefully. Real love never fades. It never dies. It does not go away. We may leave love, but love will never leave us. True love is God. God’s love is the glue that holds everything together. Without it, everything falls to pieces.

Randall Daluz - Just Find GodI never had a successful relationship. I never left a woman, but they always left me. I did not understand why until I got saved. I never knew what love was until God showed me. You see, I tried to love with expectations and that’s not real. Love is meant to be a gift. It is not supposed to cost anything. Love is free. When you attach strings to it, it’s no longer love. It becomes merely desire and desire fades. (more…)

A Time For Forgiveness: Thoughts On Charleston, SC Shooting

Matthew 5:43-48  You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.  For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?  And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so? Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.

Photo by Stephen E Norton; APDear Readers,  Three days ago, a man walked into a church full of Christians (who happened to be colored), sat there as the Word of God was preached for some time and then opened fire, killing nine Christian brothers and sisters and wounding several others.  As I am writing this, I am still stunned.  I am emotional.  I weep not for my fallen brothers and sisters in Christ.  I need not shed tears for them; for they are at home in peace and love with the Lord.  Hallelujah!  I weep for their families.  I weep for their friends.  I weep for everyone who has lost someone to senseless violence.  I also weep for my nation, my beautiful America.  I wonder, why she is so cruel at times?  Yet, even while I am in the midst of such madness and confusion, I still see hope.  I still see God’s light shining through the darkness.  Praise His name!  Thank you, Jesus!  When I picked up the paper today, I wept again.  But, this time they were tears of joy.   (more…)

Happy Father’s Day, GOD!

Randall Daluz - Happy Fathers DayJohn 10:29-30  My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand.  I and My Father are one.”

Dear Readers,  I pray for a happy and blessed Father’s Day for all the Dad’s out there.  As you celebrate this happy holiday, take a moment and thank the Greatest Father of all time, GOD.  It is not easy finding gifts for our earthly fathers.  It is even harder to find something for our Supreme Father.  What can you give a Father who truly has it all?  The only things God wants from us is love, respect and obedience.  When we give those to Him, it brings Him glory.  Aren’t those the greatest gifts that any child can give a father?  Those gifts are a small price to pay for God’s grace and blessings.  And, yet, most of us have a hard time with them, don’t we?  I know I do.  Our selfish and sinful nature hinder our ability to honor the Father.  We get so caught up in ourselves and our own desires that we forget where it is that all the good in our lives comes from.   (more…)

True Wealth

Randall Daluz - Proverbs 16:16Proverbs 13:7  There is one who makes himself rich, yet has nothing; And one who makes himself poor, yet has great riches.

Dear Readers,  Do you want to be wealthy?  Would you like to be admired for your wealth?  Sounds nice, doesn’t it?  If you answered “Yes” to any of those questions, you’re not alone.  We all want to be wealthy, don’t we?  I would like you to ask yourself something.  What does it mean to be truly wealthy?  You know, a lot of people already have wealth, but they are too blind to see it.  There are some people who believe they are wealthy, but they are lost, poor in spirit and lonely; For they know not the joy of Christ the King.  Now I am going to ask you again.  DO YOU WANT TO BE TRULY WEALTHY???  Shout “Amen!” if you do.  I’ve got awesome news for you, friends.  I can tell you a “foolproof” guaranteed plan to get really wealthy very quickly.  Yes, sir, I can.  It is not my plan, it is God’s plan.  But, I have been anointed and appointed to share it with you.  The plan is salvation, folks.  Salvation will bring you true wealth.  YES, SIR!!  Praise God!  Anyone can achieve salvation.  God’s wealth is free for all.   (more…)

A Cry For Peace In Ferguson

Deuteronomy 32:35  Vengeance is Mine, and recompense; Their foot shall slip in due time; For the day of their calamity is at hand, And the things to come hasten upon them.’

Randall Daluz Ferguson Protestors

When I turned the news on this morning, I was shocked to learn that two police officers had been shot in Ferguson.  My prayers are with them and their families.  I am shocked at the brutality, but I am sad to say I am not surprised.  Given the racial tensions in my own case, this situation is close to my heart.  I cannot lie; I am very disgusted with our legal system.  The racism in our justice system has deep roots.  It is heinous and unacceptable.  Does it anger me?  Yes, of course it does!  That being said, I want it to be known that I condemn the acts of violence perpetrated by misguided people against the police.  We are not living under the Old Testament.  We must not seek “an eye for an eye”.  It is wrong.   (more…)

Unity and Diversity

I Corinthians 12:13  For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit.

Randall_Daluz_ChristianWorldViewMy grandpa, Norman Tibbetts, was a wonderful human being.  He was English and Native American.  He had white skin.  Growing up in Aroostook County, Maine – during the depression – I don’t think grandpa had many colored friends (if any at all).  None-the-less, grandpa believed in freedom and equality for every American regardless of color or social status.  Grandpa fought in World War II and he used to tell me that he fought for every man, woman and child in America, not just whites.  My father was Creole and had dark skin.  I am pretty sure he was the first colored man my grandpa and gramma ever shared a meal with.  My mother was nervous that day, she told me.  My grandpa and my dad liked each other from the start.  They had a mutual respect for one another.  You see, neither of them cared about color; it was the character of a person that mattered.  Those were the values my family grew up with and they passed those values down to us kids.  My grandparents loved me from the day I was born and they never treated me any different because of my color.  My family is diverse and I thank the Lord for that.  I have been stereotyped (more…)
